It’s hard to believe the Texas Democratic primary is upon us already.  Early Voting begins February 17!!  If you still don’t know who you’re voting for (does anyone?), join us February 19 and share knowledge on candidates, propositions - and those new voting rules!!

We’ve all seen the damage a bad TX AG can do - let’s find out how electing a Democrat can do good for Texans. Moderated by James Barrigan of Capital Tonight, let’s see which candidate impresses us the most.

One of our New Year’s resolutions is to get better organized. If we want to turn the Park Cities area into a bluer shade of purple, we’re going to need to pull out all the organizational stops. Relational Organizing is the latest trend among the political insiders: what is it? when does it work better than traditional outreach methods? what is the best way to reach out to our neighbors? We’ll learn all about this at the January meeting!

On this call, the Dallas County Democratic Party will answer the question: What’s a Precinct Chair and How Do I Get Involved at the Party?! The position of precinct chair is generally the party job closest to the actual action: meeting, motivating, and mobilizing the voters themselves, who happen to be your neighbors and friends! If you're fired up and looking to step up and really make a difference, this is the perfect opportunity at a crucial political moment.
