Get Involved

Join us! The most important thing to remember in this political age is self-care.  And one of the best ways to rejuvenate your psyche is to surround yourself with supportive, like minds.  We have meetings and access to social events that can keep you sane.

What Can I DO?

We get this question more than any other - especially since the November election!  But not everyone has the same set of skills or comfort level for political activism. We’ve come up with some options for every level of activism.

Quiet Activism

Actions can be done anonymously and largely from your own home that make an impact and send a strong message to those in power.  Examples of Quiet Activism include making political donations, participating in economic boycotts (or supporting businesses who support your values), and following and supporting writers, political attorneys and other activists.

Moderate Activism

These tasks are not anonymous, but they are not public either. For example, calling your elected representatives, registering new voters, writing postcards - even bringing your friends to a PCA Dems meeting!

Public Activism

Activities such as public protests can be an essential tool to demonstrate to our representatives that their constituents demand change!
