his coming Spring Semester, March To The Polls will be the largest high school voter registration program in the DFW area. But the purpose of this program isn’t just to register students, it is also to engage and motivate our registrants to go out and vote.

This is where our speakers come in. We need volunteers to speak to students, facilitate a conversation with students on their issues, and walk them through the voter registration process. 

In order to become a speaker, you will need to go through our speaker training program in order to learn our lesson, best practices for presenting, and what to expect from the program for the rest of the semester. If you have gone through speaker training already, you will need to attend this training in order to learn our new lesson structure as well as be re-certified. Attending the training is not a guarantee of becoming an approved speaker.

The first Speaker Training is coming up this Tuesday, February 4, from 6:30pm-8pm at the CWA Local 6215 located at 1408 N Washington Ave # 300, Dallas, TX 75204. Please RSVP via email prior to the event as space is limited.
