What a wonderful treat to see so many of you at our food drive, part of the Biden/Harris day of service to kick off the inauguration. And then there was this…
Now that the election is over, what's next for Texas Dems and PCDWA?
For our first coffee in 2021, we are excited to regroup with everyone and have the key members of the Lone Star Project join us to share their insights on our 2020 election results (in Texas) and where do we go/focus from here in preparation of 2022 and 2024 elections.
Lone Star Project, a political action committee, is focused on defeating Republicans and helping targeted Democratic candidates get elected. They apply years of broad-based political experience and knowledge of Texas politics to give targeted candidates and allied organizations the essential political tools and services (opposition research, candidate/staff training, democratic messaging, election/voting analysis, fighting for fair redistricting and ballot access) that they may otherwise not be able to find or fund.
Joining us virtually from Lone Star Project are:
Matt Angle – Founder and Director of the Lone Star Project. He is an expert on Texas politics, redistricting/gerrymandering and voting rights.
Lisa Turner – State Director of the Lone Star Project. She is also an expert on Texas politics and providing strategy and support to targeted candidates.
Emily Englander – Director of Finance and Campaign Services for the Lone Star Project. Emily has years of experience working on and managing Campaigns, helping John Turner (HD 114) win his first election race in 2018. She continues to provide strategic and campaign support to targeted candidates on behalf of the Lone Star Project.
