TX-24 Coffee with Candidates this Friday!

It’s Coffee Time!  And not just because the world keeps feeling like its burning down or because Trump’s co-defendants keep flipping on him. PCDWA meets Friday, November 3, 9:30 AM.  Those of you who came last month to chat with our amazing candidates, Liz Ginzberg and Yasmin Simon, running for HD 108 know that already. Here are pictures for proof!

And this month!

This time, we have the candidates for TX-24. That’s right. Our US House Seat.  One of the most important votes we have, since CLEARLY the Democrats need a majority in the house if we’re going to even do the most basic governing, and Beth Van Duyne is just about as bad as it gets.  At this month’s coffee, we have two candidates joining us: Sam Eppler and Francine Ly.  Be there too so we can get this ball rolling. Remember how good it felt to flip 32?  We can do it again. Here are the details: We’re meeting Friday, November 3, 9:30 AM. Check your email to sign up or write membership@pcdwa.org to join!

And just ‘cause it’s always worth saying.  Men are welcome, your like-minded friends are welcome, and your fed up Republicans are welcome.  We know we don’t bite, but they might like to see it in person.

As always, there’s more!  Have you voted yet?  Did you early voting had started?  Texas is having a constitutional election, and we need to turn out.  Friday is the last day of early voting. We’ll be talking about the issues in person at the coffee, but if you can’t make it, here are a couple guides from the League of Women Voters (non-partisan), and Mom’s Against Greg Abbot (good folk with witty signs). Election Day is Tuesday, November 7.
