August First Friday is Here! Campaign Update and Lit Stick

August 1, 2020 Admin PCDWA

There are 95 days until Election Day.  Fortunately, the August First Friday comes much sooner than that—August 7 at 10:00, to be precise. Join us via zoom and get updates from HD 108 Candidate Joanna Cattanach and from the Colin Allred, TX-32, reelection campaign. Check your email for the zoom link, or write to membership@pcdwa.org.

If you hope to elect a President who does not consider reciting "Person. Woman. Man. Camera. TV" repeatedly to be the mark of a genius, then please get involved.

2020 Lit Stick Project

The 2020 Lit Stick Project is a FEDDs program, in partnership with WDUA and PCDWA, designed to Get Out The Vote (GOTV) by providing 110,000 democratic voting households in Dallas County an 8.5"x11" sticky note (shown below) on their door with Every Democratic Candidate on the front and voting dates, times, and locations on the back.

The fact that literature (Lit) is easy to distribute (Stick) has made this project a favorite with activists and volunteers.

Together, our combined teams will distribute all 110,000 in the 3 weeks prior to early voting in October.

Please Donate to this powerful project!  https://www.funkyeastdallasdemocrats.com/2020-lit-stick-project

Please consider helping us supporting this project financially by making a donation by mid-August to help cover PCDWA's portion of the printing costs.

In addition, we will post signups in September for October Lit Stick walking over the three weeks leading up to the election.  Since block-walking is not happening, this is a socially-distanced way to support not only your favorite candidate but the entire Democratic ballot in November.
